Resources for Interns: IDP, Intern Development Program The Massachusetts Board of Registration of Architects requires completion of the Intern Development Program (IDP) prior to sitting for the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE). Through the IDP mentorship system, interns receive advice and guidance from practitioners and the IDP supplementary education system provides a variety of learning resources designed to enrich training.
